Save an Egg Pets Guide: Hatching and Collection

Pets connect the rescue loop to your plot

Pets in Save an Egg hatch from eggs you rescue and bring home. The chase gives you an egg to work toward, while the plot turns that completed rescue into a pet. Pets then earn money, so returning home is part of progression rather than a break from it.

If you are still learning the loop, focus on one complete hatch. Find an egg carrier, slide into it, collect the released egg and complete the golden-ring action. Carry the egg to the Safe Zone and place it on your plot. The egg-hatching guide explains that final part without mixing it up with a new chase.

Choose a collection goal or an income goal

The Forest Index contains seven named pets: Leaf Dog, Leaf Rabbit, Leaf Fox, Boar, Golden Stag, Griffin and Bear Guardian. Their labels range from Common to Secret. If you want to finish the Forest set, the useful question is which entry you are missing. The Forest pet list gives you a compact reference for that goal.

Income is a different comparison. The size sequence runs from Normal through Colossal, and the game advertises random size. Compare the cash labels of the pets you actually own when deciding which hatch is helping your plot. A rarity label identifies the collection category; it does not by itself give you a universal earnings figure for every size.

Collection completion has its own payoff. The Forest Index reward shown with all seven pets includes Root Stompers boots. That gives another reason to care about a missing entry alongside a money-producing favorite. Pick your aim before the next chase: add a pet you lack, develop the collection you enjoy, or improve your ability to reach the next rescue. A clearer goal is more useful than treating every new hatch as automatically better in every way.
