Save an Egg Money Guide: Build Pet Income

Last updated 2026-11-01Unofficial player article

Build money through pets

  • Income route: Rescue eggs, return them to your plot and hatch pets that earn money.
  • Useful comparison: Compare your actual pets and displayed earnings instead of assuming a rarity label fixes income.

Finish rescues to build your pet income

The money route in Save an Egg runs through your pets. Bring rescued eggs back to the plot, hatch them, and the pets earn money for you. If you are spending a session running between unfinished chases, finishing one delivery is a clearer income step than starting another carrier pursuit.

Start with the part you can complete reliably. Reach an egg stealer, slide to release the egg, collect it and make the return. When faster targets are the obstacle, speed training serves that chase goal. When your egg is already home, the hatching guide covers the next useful action.

Compare earnings in the context of size

The game advertises random pet sizes, ranging from Normal to Colossal. A displayed cash-per-second amount describes the pet shown with it. It should not be stretched into a universal base value for every pet with that name. For your own decisions, use the pet and earnings label you actually have on the plot.

This is also why a rarity list and an income comparison are different tools. Forest entries include Leaf Dog, Leaf Fox, Boar and Golden Stag, but a higher rarity label alone does not tell you the exact earnings of every size. The Forest pet list helps identify collection entries; it is not a promise of fixed cash values.

Choose what the next hatch should do for your session. If you want earnings, focus on completing the rescue-to-plot loop and reviewing the actual result. If you want the Forest completion reward, a missing pet name can be the better goal even when you like your existing income pets.

Rival sliding offers another money-related activity: players can grab credits from one another. The game uses credits for that contest and money for pet income, without establishing a wallet conversion rule here. Use the Credits guide before treating a rival chase as the same task as building your plot.
