Save an Egg Biomes Guide: Speed Gates and Chases
Prepare for a new biome
- Requirement: Match your speed goal to the named entrance you want to use.
- Purpose: New biomes bring new chases; finish your current egg return before changing destinations.
Choose a destination before another training stretch
Biomes in Save an Egg give exploration a concrete chase goal. The game connects speed training with catching faster stealers and advertises new biomes with new chases. Pick the area you want to attempt, then use its displayed entrance requirement to decide whether training is your next useful action.
The official preview shows Frost at 500K speed, Storm at 2M and Moon at 10M, alongside the Forest area. These are named milestones from that preview snapshot. The biome list keeps the labels together; the requirement at your current entrance is the one to use for a live decision.
Keep the rescue task intact when you explore
Entering a different area does not replace the rescue sequence. You still look for egg-carrying stealers, slide to release an egg, collect it and return it to the plot. If you are carrying an egg when you decide to explore, finish the home delivery before starting the new area goal.
Choose a shorter target when the whole journey is still difficult. Practice the carrier approach if the slide is your obstacle. Work on golden-ring timing if you reach the egg but miss the flip. Train speed when a faster carrier is the part you cannot reach. Those are different reasons to spend time before another biome attempt.
Collection can also provide a reason to stay in an area you know. Forest has seven named Index pets, with a completion reward that leads to Root Stompers boots in the official preview. If you want that set, a missing Forest entry is a useful session goal alongside a future speed gate. You can enjoy exploration without treating every unlocked entrance as a command to leave an unfinished collection immediately.
